Host rules

1. Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are not permitted at the Rainbow Lakes Estates Community Center:

Alcohol, as prohibited by local ordinance

Smoking inside the building or within entrances and walkways

Open flames or incendiary items (including candles, sparklers, and pyrotechnics)

Pets inside the building

Blocking fire or emergency exit doors

Propping or leaving doors open without staff approval

Confetti, glitter, sequins, sparkles, or scattered décor

Attaching items to walls or surfaces using tape, staples, or nails

Removal of seasonal décor displayed during holidays

Parking on grass within the Community Center complex (street parking on grass is permitted)

Any illegal or disorderly conduct on the premises

Standing on chairs or tables; dragging furniture; or scuffing floors or stage surfaces

Altering HVAC settings

2. Deposit & Payment

A 50% deposit (including tax) is due at the time of reservation

Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event

Failure to submit final payment on time may result in loss of the reservation date

3. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made by calling 352-489-4280

Full refund for cancellations made 30+ days before the event

Cancellations less than 30 days but more than 7 days prior receive a 50% refund

No refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the event

4. Venue Setup

Venue rental does not include setup

Renters are responsible for room arrangement

Tables and chairs may be requested; staff will provide quantities for renter setup

Facility must be left in similar condition as received

5. Cleaning

Cleaning fee covers normal post-event wear

Excessive mess or damage will result in an additional $100 cleaning fee

Cleaning supplies will be made available to help avoid extra charges

6. Security Cameras

Interior and exterior security cameras are in use

Renters consent to video recording while on the premises

Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
