About this space

Cocktail Masterclass is a Bar in Boom Battle Bar Reading, an on-bar teaching area configured for hands-on cocktail-making sessions.

Design: The bar has low ceilings, a patterned ceiling treatment and coloured LED uplighting that creates a theatrical, nightclub-style interior. The back bar features backlit shelving of spirits and a long wooden counter that frames the demonstration area.

Features: The demonstration counter and service bar host the masterclass setup, supported by a PA system and speakers for announcements and music. The space includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a dancefloor area and the option to bring your own DJ. The area is wheelchair accessible and benefits from accessible toilets and a step-free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking an interactive, standing, informal session where guests learn and make drinks together.

What sets it apart: A resident team perform flair bartending demonstrations during sessions, adding theatrical, skill-based instruction to the practical tuition.

What guests say: The space has a lively, friendly atmosphere and well-organised activities. The space's hosts are attentive and keep sessions running smoothly.
