As you make your way through Side Store, up the stairs past Side Bar, you’ll come to a door that leads to a secret space, a den of antiquity where time stops and music plays through the decades. Here, we introduce the newly renovated Side Space.
Perfect for a one-off social event or a long-term pop-up, with access to the bar and a direct street entrance, it’s truly your own for private gatherings and events. We offer a variety of seating and table setups and can recommend local vendors for decorations and entertainment.

About Side Street
A day-to-night destination located in St John’s, Manchester’s newest creative district.
Side Street sits on the ground floor of the ABC Building, and compromises of THREE different spaces to choose from:
- Side Store - A day into night spot, offering coffees brunch and a bottle fridge for takeaway drinks
- Side Bar - A one of a kind venue with mid-century flair, it's the perfect backdrop to snacking on Tartuffe sharers or listening to local DJs spinning house and funk classics. The bar nicknamed 'The home of the Colada' has a cocktail line up to suit all tastebuds.
- Side Space - Host's a line up of club nights, pop up events, and gigs and stays open until 3am!
