About this space
The Upper Room benefits from beautiful views of the rest of the building with it's stained-glass windows thanks to a soundproofed glass wall which separates it from the Main Hall. It can seat up to 150 people and benefits from a PA system and integrated projector and drop-down screen. There is also under-floor heating, zoned lighting and disabled access from the main entrance of the building via a lift. The room can be set up in a variety of ways, making it ideal for training, meetings or rehearsals.

No smoking in the building.
We are in a residential area, so please keep noise to minimum when leaving, especially in the evenings.
Outside catering is allowed - please speaking to our building manager about arranging this. (We work closely with an outside caterer who we are happy to recommend to you.)
For full use of the PA and media system in the main hall, a small additional charge may be added, depending on the requirements of the booking.

Welcome to St Mark’s church, Leeds, a Grade II listed building. Situated a five minute walk from the University of Leeds’ Parkinson Building, the location is convenient for conferences, exam space, training, wedding receptions, private functions and more. The building is used and owned by Gateway Church. It has easy access from Leeds city centre and is served by a number of regular bus routes.
The building has been finished to a high specification and features a fully functioning kitchen, a refreshments service, underfloor heating, media and PA facilities (including fully integrated projector screen), parking for the disabled and event organisers, disabled access and a hearing loop system.
There are three rooms of different sizes available that can be used for different functions with or without use of the well-stocked kitchen. Alternatively, the whole building can be booked.
