The McTurk's Bar is our most popular private area tucked away below street level. With it's own private bar, McTurk's is great for birthdays, leaving nights, Christmas dinners and corporate functions – in fact, it’s a great choice for any occasion or event.

Hosting an even for over 60 guests? At no additional cost, you can enhance your experience by adding on our Dargle Room, an adjacent cozy space surrounded by charming mock shopfronts.

Waxy’s has a variety of areas available to book for groups from 40 to 800 guests including two private bars available for hire. You could even hire the entire venue exclusively as we can hold up to 800 people.

Each area has its own atmosphere and personality making them very adaptable for all types of occasions. We cater for birthdays, leaving dos, retirement parties, engagements, anniversaries, reunions, corporate events and of course Christmas parties!
