About this space

Outside Space is a private outdoor space at the Fox & Hounds that sits beside the venue garden and lawn, providing a green, open-air backdrop for private events.

Design: The area pairs simple country-style fittings—long wooden trestle tables, plain chair seating and bunting—with wide sightlines across hedged borders, flower beds and mown lawn.

Features: The space benefits from abundant natural light and direct access onto surrounding lawns and garden paths. The layout supports banquet-style dining or standing receptions using long tables and linear seating. The area accommodates table dressing and external catering arrangements.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, garden-side setting for seated dinners or informal standing receptions.

What sets it apart: A covered marquee can be installed on-site to provide weather-protected dining that suits both formal table plans and casual layouts.

What guests say: The garden and grounds are attractive and peaceful.
