Space features
The Green Room is a private bar in The Piano Works Cardiff, defined by a compact, semi-private layout and theatrical styling.
Design: The room pairs bold black-and-white striped flooring with jewel-toned velvet banquettes, patterned upholstery and a low, paneled ceiling. Large glazed openings bring daylight into the space and highlight polished shelving behind the bar.
Features: The bar contains a central service counter, back-shelving and a mounted screen, plus fixed banquette seating, high tables and stools for mixed standing-and-seated layouts. The room also has natural light, Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and it is wheelchair accessible with step-free entry and accessible toilets.
Ideal for: Small, social groups seeking a relaxed mix of standing and seated areas where live music is part of the experience.
What guests say: The space delivers a lively, music-led atmosphere while providing a quieter lower-bar area for conversation. Certain seating positions have restricted sightlines to the performance area.
