Design: The Laneway Bar is a long, narrow outdoor space framed by brick walls. The floor is covered in artificial turf and the area receives bright daytime light and a warm, low-level glow from overhead festoon bulbs after dark.

Features: The outdoor area provides a mix of high-top timber tables, stools and barrel standing tables plus large market umbrellas for shade. The area includes a PA system and speakers, on-site Wi‑Fi, and allows own music or an external DJ. The space has a step-free entrance and wheelchair access and can be arranged with bar service or private food brought in for events.

I had my 24th birthday at the Laneway and it was amazing, the space was completely secluded to the rest of the space as well as it being privately fenced off. The staff working there were amazing, super helpful and very understanding of us raising the bar tab (multiple times lol). The food was awesome, highly recommend the Arancini balls and the meat pies and the pizzas were also fantastic. All the food was hot, fresh and delicious, I cannot recommend their food enough. Aside from the food, the bar options were amazing, they could make just about anything, their Blue Lagoon cocktail was a massive hit with our party as well as the Post Master. The space itself was cozy and you felt so far removed from being so close to the city let alone the other functions happening in the building. I cannot thank the staff enough, every one of them was so helpful, understanding and in a really good mood. They even kelp our alternative food warm for us and dropped it at the same time as the rest so no one felt excluded. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will definitely be booking this place out again in future.
