Venue staff were so helpful throughout; both in making booking the event space as smooth as possible, as well as supporting us on the night. Was also a very reasonable price for a function room in the city centre, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
I had requested that tables had been cleared away as much as possible, as the space would be primarily used for dancing (accommodating 50 people) - and I made this known when booking. Upon arriving early, we found the space cleared to be insufficient, and had to help clear much more space. This involved us moving chairs and tables into the other side room we had hired. Staff helped us out with moving this furniture, but it would have been nice for us to arrive and find it fully set up. During the dancing we also had waiting staff coming through the space with food from the kitchen, which wasn't ideal. Overall though these issues were minor, and didn't stop us having a great time.

Highly recommend The Philharmonic Dining Room if you are looking for a private room for your event. The room was perfect for 50 people seated. It's a beautiful room with lots of natural light and a private bar. Food was served fresh, hot and was very a good standard. The staff at the Phil were so helpful from start to finish. Answering my numerous emails promptly and helpfully. I could not have done it without Ashley and Joe on the day. Both went above and beyond to ensure my dad's wake went smoothly and everyone was happy.
Nothing to dislike. Amazing venue, food and service.
