Here at the Thackray Museum of Medicine, we have multiple meeting rooms and event spaces for hire. We are the UK’s largest independent medical museum, just a heartbeat away from Leeds City Centre.

Thackray Museum of Medicine is set inside a Grade II listed building. The museum is based in a restored Victorian workhouse, which gives the venue a lot of personality while still feeling comfortable and easy to use.

There are five event spaces that can host up to 110 guests, depending on the setup. The rooms sit alongside the museum’s galleries, so the surroundings naturally spark conversation and ideas. It works well for training sessions, workshops, small meetings, celebrations, and corporate away days.

The spaces are simple, flexible, and supported by a team that helps things run smoothly. Being inside the museum also means your event takes place in a setting shaped by centuries of medical history and innovation.
