Steinbeck & Shaw is an exciting, edgy venue with a capacity of 400, situated in the heart of the city. Now available exclusively for private hires 7 days a week.
Our lively Bar is a 4-minute walk from Queen Street train station. Visitors will find us tucked down Park Place, opposite the iconic New Theatre.
Steinbeck & Shaw has a unique style and individual urban edge that makes it great for exclusive take overs, with a large bar, beer garden, fuse ball table, booth style seating and plenty of screens to utilise, dancefloor and DJ set up this space can host most events!
The large beer garden lends itself nicely to summer party takeovers, with live music, BBQ’s and so much more. The Conservatory is a bright space, with, as the name suggests, large floor to ceiling windows spanning half the perimeter wall. Natural light is in abundance and is complimented with large hanging filament lights.

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
