Anyone wanting to have a centralised with easy public transport access and a professional event should consider the Banqueting Suite at the Birmingham Council House. It was also perfect for a balance of great light and a sense of warmth. The catering was particularly excellent for our midwives’ needs.

All our guests were very impressed by the setting and the quality of the food and the service. A special shout out to Chris, the leader of the hospitality team on the night who was very responsive to the need to resolve some minor wrinkles on the night and who looked after us magnificently.
I did think that it was very unfortunate that there was an urban food street festival in Victoria Square on the same evening. We were not disturbed by noise. However, there was no obvious access to the main doors of the Council House. If it had not been for the kindness of certain stall holders clearing a way through and effectively acting as ushers, our guests would not have know how to join the party.

Food was amazing, portion sizes were really good Staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us The itinerary was followed exactly and the evening ran smoothly Staff arranged meetings when we had quieries and provided everything we needed on the night. Couldn’t recommend this venue enough! Stunning venue in a lovely location

The team were really helpful and went out of their way to help. Beautiful venue, with great facilities.
Feedback from delegates was that the food portions weren't big enough, and not enough fruit/veg available.
