We rented this space for 1.5 days but had to do two separate reservations and invoices as the calendar does not appear to provide the opportunity to book more than one day at a time. As mentioned in other review, the only major issue I had was with the parking situation, which was fully avoidable had the front desk staff pointed out the voucher to me when I mentioned my concern. The voucher was there, but the lobby was crowded, it was not immediately noticeable, and I was juggling an awful lot that day. But I would not hesitate to return to this location and I hope they will improve the process for parking.
Parking as described above; otherwise everything worked out great.
Beach House Co Work is centrally located near several terrific restaurants/coffee shops. The room was spacious with comfortable chairs, good wifi, and sound proofing. We could have used another whiteboard, but appreciated the need for panel insulation on the walls to help with noise control. There's a water dispenser in the room and coffee nearby. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained. We'll definitely use this location again should the need arise. There is a very sweet, friendly medium size dog on site who roams throughout. I love dogs and I'm thrilled it's a dog-friendly place, but many people may be allergic or afraid, so do keep that in mind depending upon your guests.
Parking is challenging. There are passes available in the front lobby for $3, but frankly the method to acquire one of these passes on site was not clear and I ended up with a $63 parking ticket. Even though I mentioned I was concerned about parking as I ran out to feed my meter, the woman at the front desk did not point out where the passes were in the crowded, jumbled front lobby. I realize she's "busy," but so am I. Simon the manager is very nice and hopefully will take my suggestion to put the parking information up in each room with the wifi and food info, which was readily visible. Upon arrival, there's no orientation or introduction to the venue as the front-desk is often not occupied, so you're left a bit on your own, which is how I missed the parking passes. We walked right into the place, found our room, and got to work. It was frankly a bit surprising there's not more oversight. But again, we would go back, so it's a good venue overall; Just a few kinks in on-site communication to work out.
Simon was great at communicating.
I did not like having to meet guests outside to hand them a parking pass. Other venues will email you the pass so the guest can print it out and have it. Some guests didn’t even use them because the could not connect on the street with me.
