About this space

We designed and built our gorgeous studio specifically with boudoir in mind. The main room looks like a contemporary home with abundant natural light, but even during the brightest time of day it can transform into the look of a luxurious bedroom at midnight.

We have so many textures and colors throughout the studio to inspire you. You'll be delighted by the way we can transform the space to your desire.

Host rules

No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the studio, and anyone smelling like smoke upon arrival will be turned away and the rental forfeited. If any items are left smelling like smoke after your rental, you will be charged a damage fee.

No baby oil or glitter.
Music volume must not be able to be heard outside or by neighbors who share studio walls.
There must be at least one adult (21+) present if there are children in the studio. Children must be closely supervised especially regarding sneezing/coughing.
Production insurance is required.
Not required but marking yes because it's highly recommended for larger productions.
Furniture and decorations may be moved.
As much as possible, please pick up and move furniture rather than dragging. Furniture may only be removed from the building if it can be moved to a safe space and returned in perfect condition. Same with wall decorations.
Smoke machines are allowed.
Nudity is allowed.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited.

About Oaktown Boudoir

The studio is located at 1902 Park Blvd, in the Ivy Hill neighborhood of Oakland near Lake Merritt. Parking is usually easy, as is taking Lyft from the Lake Merritt BART station.

The studio has many different rooms and Cheshire is able to recreate any backdrop you envision. It's open, bright, and filled with possibilities.
