About this space

The Dining Room & Courtyard is a 2,562 sq ft private dining room with its own covered outdoor courtyard on the second floor of 1950 Franklin, part of the STAK Event Center in Uptown Oakland, a short walk from 19th Street BART. Together they host 250+ guests: up to 150 seated in the dining room and up to 250 standing (170 seated) in the courtyard.

Glass doors open straight onto the courtyard, a covered outdoor terrace under a skylight trellis with climbing ivy, stone floors and bistro tables, so guests can move from dinner to drinks without leaving your event. The courtyard is not booked separately; it comes with the dining room. The dining room adjoins the commercial kitchen run by Darling Dear for chef-led service, from executive lunches and plated dinners to galas, fundraisers, receptions, holiday parties and celebrations, and it connects to the event suites through full-height glass double doors.
