Host rules

General Conduct
1. Respect and Inclusivity: All participants must treat each other with respect and dignity.
Discrimination, harassment, or any form of offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Supervision: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Booking and Reservations
1. Fees: Any applicable fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. Nonprofit
organizations may inquire about discounted rates.
2. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 1 week in advance to receive a
refund. Deposits are non-refundable.
Use of Space
1. Setup and Cleanup: Organizers are responsible for setting up and cleaning up the event
space. The space must be returned to its original condition.
2. Time Management: Events must start and end on time as per the booking agreement.
Additional charges may apply for overtime use.
3. Capacity: The number of attendees must not exceed the maximum capacity of the event
space.
4. Decoration: Decorations must not damage the facility. Use of nails, staples, or any
adhesive that can damage surfaces is prohibited.
5. Equipment: Any equipment or furniture provided by Juntos Fruitvale must be used
appropriately and returned in the same condition.
Safety and Security
1. Emergency Exits: Keep all emergency exits clear at all times.
2. Fire Safety: No open flames, including candles, are allowed unless prior approval is
obtained.
Prohibited Activities
1. Substance Use: The use of illegal drugs, tobacco, or vaping is strictly prohibited. No
Alcohol sales are permitted. Alcohol may only be served with prior approval and the
necessary permits.
2. Weapons: No weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises.
3. Noise Levels: Amplified sound must be kept at a reasonable level and comply with local
noise ordinances.
