At The Shepherd & the Knucklehead, our commitment to providing excellent beer is legendary with 60 beers on tap! Like our name suggests, we offer the perfect experience for a variety of people! Our family-friendly day scene includes a vast selection of delicious apps and entrées, and is stroller-friendly with plenty of seating options. Our evening scene features the same amazing food including perfectly-crafted cocktails and world-famous beer selections, as well as trivia nights, live music, outdoor seating, and a DJ that will make a dancer out of anyone. We also host events and have a variety of catering options to suit many different occasions with plenty of space!

1. 3 Hour Open Bar
• Our entire craft beer selection, mixed drinks (Tito’s and Jameson are included) and High Noon
• $55/pp (this already includes gratuity)
2. Cash Bar
• each person simply pays as they order and/or can start a tab at the bar or with one of the servers stationed with your group
Food
1. Buffet Style trays (MOST COMMON)
• Each tray is $200 plus tax and feeds 15-20 people.
• anything on our menu (www.theshepnj.com) can be ordered as a tray and it's the same price.
• you're able to mix and match trays. Example: 1 tray but half beef sliders and half chicken sliders. Or 1 tray with a combination of all the spring rolls, etc.
2. Family Style
• you let us know things you'd like on the table for people to share and what time to put them out, and people can pick at whatever they'd like.
3. Normal Ordering
• people can simply order as they please off the menu if they're hungry and if they're not hungry then they can just drink!

The Shepherd & the Knucklehead, aka “The Shep,” is our family-owned business. Located in Hoboken, our family’s second pub was established in 2016. Our unique name describes the duality in man which makes humans complex and is also the title of a book, published by one of the owners. Our goal is for a wide variety of patrons to enjoy excellent beer and food! We also enjoy giving back to our community and support charities both locally and globally. We hope to welcome you soon!
