About this space

Turf is a semi-private outdoor space at Sawyer Park Ice House that provides an open, level area for flexible outdoor layouts.

Design: The Turf area has an artificial grass surface, low perimeter fencing and festival-style string lights overhead. The proportions are wide and unobstructed, offering clear sightlines across the lawn toward the venue's performance area.

Features: A PA system and speakers are on site and own music or a BYO DJ is permitted. A Wi‑Fi connection and abundant natural light support outdoor gatherings, and the area is wheelchair accessible with a step‑free guest entrance and accessible toilets nearby. The open surface accommodates lawn games, temporary seating or event tents.

Ideal for: Groups of friends and family seeking a relaxed, social outdoor gathering will find the space suits informal standing receptions and casual seated layouts.

What guests say: The space is family-friendly and laid-back. The space includes a sizable adjacent play area that keeps active children separate from dining and seating.
