About this space

The Chair Factory is a converted 100-year-old chair factory turned event venue, defined by its preserved historic fabric and a large, adaptable main hall.

Design: The main hall has tall factory windows, exposed brick walls and timber columns that create bright, open proportions and support flexible table and performance layouts.

Features: The venue provides an open-plan main hall with space for a dancefloor, an in-house PA and speaker system, Wi‑Fi and abundant natural light. The music policy allows outside DJs and use of own playlists. The entrance is step-free and the space is wheelchair accessible.

Ideal for: The venue suits larger social groups seeking a relaxed, social gathering that combines seated dining and room for music and dancing.

What sets it apart: A standout feature is the venue's refinished original pine plank floors that run throughout the main hall.

What guests say: The venue has a strong speakeasy-style atmosphere and a characterful interior. The space accommodates staged and immersive performances.
