The Studio at Fred Astaire Dance Studios St. Charles

About this space

A large open studio with a smooth, polished wood floor and a moderate suspended ceiling height that creates an unobstructed rectangular working area. Warm-toned walls and a glossy floor produce visible reflections that affect how movement photographs and videos appear.

Room features: Wall-length mirrors and a PA system support technique review and music playback. Integrated lighting equipment and available natural light provide options for controlled or daylight shoots, and air conditioning keeps the space comfortable during long sessions.

Best for: Dance classes, rehearsal filming, movement-focused video and still photography, and wedding first-dance practice.
