Private space

About this space

CHRS Great Room is a Hall in the California Historical Radio Society centred on a naturally bright, courtyard-style event space.

Design
The space presents as a practical garden courtyard finished in paved stone, low timber fencing and mature trees that frame the area. Festoon lighting and an informal mix of benches and folding chairs give the area a casual, functional appearance.

Features
A fixed PA system and speakers are provided. The space permits own music and outside DJs subject to a noise restriction. The space includes a step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets, provides Wi‑Fi, and accommodates a designated dance area.

Ideal for
Community groups and social organisations seeking a relaxed, accessible setting for seated meals or mixed seated-and-standing receptions.

What sets it apart
Two linked covered pavilions create a sheltered outdoor dining and dedicated buffet/service zone.
