Compact studio with an intimate footprint and built-in sculptural plinths. Daylight fills the room, producing soft, even illumination and gentle shadowing for camera work.

Room features: On-site photo and video equipment enables turnkey stills and motion capture, supported by professional lighting and adjustable backdrops; a PA/speaker system supplies audio for recorded sessions and small events.

Best for: Photography and video content, including portraits, product and social media shoots, and small recorded sessions such as video podcasts and livestreams.

What sets it apart: A lime-washed textured wall finish provides a ready-made neutral backdrop with subtle tonal variation.

The Sanctuary Studio is a hidden gem in Nottingham! It is beautifully presented, and the moment you walk in, you feel inspired. They provide everything you could need, from drinks for your guests to hairdressing equipment, a makeup chair and a mirror. I booked it for four hours, but honestly, I could have stayed there all day! I will definitely return—especially if they give me a discount next time 😂
Nothing at all—it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

The studio is stunning. It makes the perfect backdrop! Lots of space, and lots of different options. Super quick and efficient communications with the owners. I have nothing but praise.
The only tiny issue was parking - we had 6 models all driving, road space can be a tiny bit tricky, but its absolutely fine to park a little further up the road or around the corner and walk a short distance.
