About this space
Our Debates Chamber is one of the largest rooms within the Union.
Renovated to its original stature, the space conveys a sense of tradition, elegance and grandeur. Seating approximately 120 for a birthday party or evening reception and 200 theatre style for conferences. With an additional 250 seats in the gallery, this large versatile space caters to a wide variety of events.
The Debates Chamber is accompanied by our Reading Room bar which provides an additional space for guests to relax.

This is a fantastic venue. Staff are excellent, helpful and kind. Can’t do enough for you. Prices are excellent. It’s a part of Glasgow History
Would like disabled patrons to be able to come in front door. The front steps could be easily changed for this
