The Snug is a private Dining Room in Bar Soba that provides an intimate, enclosed setting for one group, designed for a single-table experience and privacy.
Design: The room has whitewashed brick walls and dark timber flooring paired with low-hanging filament pendant lights on visible red cable. The room uses mixed metal and leather seating, sheer curtains along one side and compact, narrow proportions that produce low, even lighting.
Features: The room includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. A long fixed dining table occupies the centre and is surrounded by mixed chairs and stools to create a single-table seating plan. Curtains provide visual privacy and the table is commonly used with small tealight holders for low-level table lighting.
Ideal for: The room is best suited to small groups wanting a single-table, seated dinner or a focused boardroom-style meeting that centres on conversation and connection.
What sets it apart: A dedicated in-room PA allows playback of your own music through the room's sound system for fully controlled background music.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Provisional bookings will only be held for a maximum of 7 days. Thereafter, a deposit is required to confirm the booking.
A deposit of £250 is required to secure the booking.
Failure to pay a £250 deposit no later than 4 weeks in advance of the event will result in cancellation of the event.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Full balances for exclusive hire of The Basement must be paid 2 weeks in advance of the event.
Failure to pay the full balance 2 weeks in advance of the event will result in cancellation of the event.
Children under 18 years of age are not permitted within the venue beyond 8pm.
We do not take bookings for 18th or 21st Birthday Parties.
You are not permitted to sell tickets for an event booked at the premises.
You are not permitted to decorate the walls of the venue. Free standing balloons and table decoration are allowed
You are permitted to serve a celebration cake to your guests.
You may not provide any food or alcohol to your guests not supplied by the venue.
We reserve the right to cancel any events.

FAQ
Playing your own music would have to be done via a Spotify playlist. The venue has an iPad behind the upstairs bar, but can only play a playlist shared with the venue, and guests cannot access the iPad.
