Warm, inviting space with easy access. Venue is cute, food was excellent, service was fantastic. Team were attentive, accommodating, polite and friendly. They coordinated with me for delays with timing due to guest arrival and delivered seamlessly. Preorder process was very smooth and made things easier on the day. The venue was quiet on the day so we were able to make quite alot of noise so less restricted than anticipated. Minimal decoration needed for babyshower in green areas due to soft lighting. Food was varied and delicious. Fish and chips were exceptional.

We recently held our baby shower at The Counting House and had a really lovely experience overall. The team were friendly, attentive, and made everything feel smooth and stress-free from start to finish.
The food and drinks were excellent and came out in good time, and the service throughout was warm and professional. The venue itself is also great—well kept, welcoming, and a nice atmosphere for a celebration.
The only thing worth noting is that it can feel a bit cramped for around 20 people, so if you’re planning a group that size it’s something to keep in mind. Aside from that, we couldn’t fault it and would happily recommend The Counting House for an event.

We had a great experience overall! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food and drinks selection. The space was exactly as described, and the layout and setup looked absolutely amazing.
The only minor issue was that we couldn’t access the venue early to set up before our guests arrived, which cut into our event time. Additionally, there was a change to a festive menu from the time of our enquiry, and we weren’t informed until after booking.
That said, the positives far outweighed these small hiccups, and we’d happily recommend the venue for its atmosphere, staff, and overall quality!

Booked The Rooftop Terrace bar at Doggett's Coat and Badge
Starting from the beginning, the team were fantastic and easy to speak with to plan everything I wanted. Chloe put up with a lot of messages from me up to the day of the event!
Fast forward to today, the event is easy to get to, the space was perfect, easily held 70 people! The staff on site was incredible - so much love for Lizzy for being so helpful. We were able to set up just in time and food and drink was fantastic (seriously, the food was complimented a lot)!
They also had a projector we could use which was perfectly to set up a back drop and also play our gender reveal video, plus music for the event.
The view was spectacular especially when it got darker.
All in all, I highly recommend the Doggett as the go-to venue for any kind of event and would really consider again if I plan another party!

We were looking for a nice unique place to have a baby shower and this venue was perfect! The boat was moored at Paddington basin and it was really private and the location was great. We had everything we needed on board. Elizabeth was so helpful and everything went really smoothly.
