A unique event space hidden behind a secret bookcase entrance leading into our speakeasy style basement bar. Our private bar has a cosy atmosphere and can hold up to 60 people for that perfect themed party, corporate event, wrap party, meeting or anything you desire! We have a full bar and catering options available for your event.

A fantastic venue to hold a party! It's a lovely private room, the communication organising this was great. We ordered some buffet food (the premium set, 25 for 60 people, supplied most people with some nibbles) which was really delicious and the staff were lovely!! We were allowed to decorate and play our own music, it really personalised our event. I would thoroughly recommend booking here. I'd happily book again or suggest it to others. Thanks for giving me a lovely evening to remember.
The only draw backs are that it's down a flight of stairs so if you have any disabled attendees take that into consideration, and it would have been nice to have an extra bar staff who could support when the bar was busy and clear away glasses in-between. Was also warm at first but think they must have turned on the aircon.
The bartender on the day (I've forgotten the ladies name, sadly) was absolutely amazing! So many people from the party commented on how helpful and accommodating she was. The day ran so smoothly because of her and she managed to keep professional in a room full of 30 or so loud women. The venue itself was very cosy, intimate and lovely. A perfect size for around 20-25 people. We were allowed to play our own music and bring our own decorations in. Thank you for making it a wonderful event.
Hidden away behind a secret door is one of the best kept secrets in London, Martha's bar. Fantastic place for a party. It's my third time booking here and I'll be back! Fantastic staff, really good catering. Highly recommended
Only downside is there is no toilet downstairs. But apart from that everything was perfect.
Kind staff, very nice private venue with own bar and own music, flexible and helped us stay relaxed and enjoy our night, plenty of food for those eating on the night and compliments for the food generally
