About this space

chapter is a contemporary art gallery and studio on Dickens Street in Spring Hill. Most of the time it shows new work. On weekdays it's also available for teams and facilitators who want somewhere bright, fresh and creative to think, plan, meet and be inspired.

You hire the whole gallery for the day, for one flat fee. Use it for two hours or ten, it's the same price. If an exhibition is on, you'll be working among it; if the walls are bare, they're yours to pin up, project onto and fill with sticky notes. Polished concrete floors, white gallery walls and dimmable lighting contribute to the experience of the space.

We set out tables and chairs to suit your session. There's fast Wi-Fi, a short-throw HD projector, air conditioning and an accessible toilet. Bring your own catering and drinks, and we can point you to local caterers who know the space.

Parking is easy: plenty of on-street parking nearby, plus some off-street spaces. Central Station and the CBD are a short walk away.
