The Station photo studio can accommodate photo shoots of any nature: branding, product, press, and creative.
Photo studio offers:
- Natural light studio at the front: Can accommodate portable backdrop holders with both fabric and paper available for hire
- Controlled light studio at the back: Offering both full-roll and half-roll backdrops - seasonal colours available for hire
- Studio Strobe lights for hire. 1x Godox AD600Pro Studio with 120 cm octabox, 2 x Godox SK400II 400W Strobes, 2 x 60cm by 60cm soft boxes (Godox compatible with most major brands)
- Half-roll paper included with all bookings
- Fabric backdrops included with all bookings
- Fully Air-conditioned
- A variety of different chairs in both modern & vintage look
- Variety of props and plinths
- Change room
- Clothing steamer (handheld)

- Full-length mirror
- On-site car park for use during session

Host rules
We are in a residential area, so all bookings must be wrapped up and the building vacated by no later than 11 pm.
Please note, the outdoor car park area of the Station must not be occupied past 10 pm, attendees must be inside the venue and the roller doors closed after 10 pm.
Drinks are to be consumed inside only.
No glass permitted, only cans if BYO.
For all private events, alcohol is strictly BYO only, or the event organizer if supplying drinks must not charge guests a fee. This is non-negotiable.
The Station Brisbane does not have a kitchen nor the capability to store/heat large amounts of food, therefore catering will need to be organized.
Public Liability covers the Station Brisbane. However, you are responsible for all external materials brought into the space.
We charge a $90 cleaning fee for larger events + $200 bond/
No smoking inside the premises.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period

Rhianna was so accommodating and made booking the studio easy. Our small team had a great time and no trouble filling our time slot with playing with props, furniture and layout provided, as well as backdrops pre-organised. Will definitely book again!
Venue was set up very well for us. Athena was very friendly and polite and made us feel welcome.
Such a beautiful space where you can be creative and have multiple things happening at once. I used the space for a photo shoot and while one model was on one wall, I had other models in other areas taking pics. Overall just super happy with I’m my experience. The manager was super helpful and accommodating too! Would highly recommend x
It would have been nice if they had light equipment to hire out but it was easy to find on the side so it wasn’t really a drama. Nothing really to complain about tbh

About The Station
The Station is a unique and flexible creative space that caters to various events including art exhibitions, workshops, product launches, corporate events, etc.
The Station is also home to a photography studio with in-house photographers, a variety of backdrops and lighting equipment for hire. Full roll and half roll backdrops are available and charged at $30/m if used as a continuous backdrop (i.e. stood on/whole body).
There is a white enclosed wall with a bench seat perfect for product/portrait photography, a raw brick wall, a drop-down coloured roller and a large white wall outside that gets bright sun most hours of the day.
