There was some flexibility for us to store the items we needed for the event on Saturday so items were stored on Thursday until Saturday morning in a unused stairwell

No Parking facilities at all for people which was a let down for most people, Building was cold for participants when they arrived and for many hours after the event started, the VIP rooms were cold through the whole day we bought our own heaters and we found the electrics were not working in that room our guests were literally freezing cold in the room for 3/4th of the event time. Tables we ordered for the event were not available and we had to use broken tables and we were late to set up registration for the event. Towards the end of the event when we went over the time we had scheduled which we did not expect to the manager told us he has decided to retain our deposit of £2000 because we went over by an hour and that he would charge us £500 per hour on top of that . The deposit of £2000 was added for damages when we were booking the venue as part of the payment. We did not expect the venue manager to behave that way. The lighting was being turned up and down and the mics were turned off after a point. Which is fine but I am not sure why the deposit and extra charges have been added when the service was discontinued. As an overall the last part of the event outweighed in negativity for any positives of the venue.
