About Barceloneta Miami
Barceloneta emerged on the scene in 2011 and was one of the original venues that amplified Sunset Harbour into the fashionable Miami neighborhood it is now reputed for.
A trendy & casual venue, Chef Juliana Gonzalez has redefined Spanish Mediterranean cuisine, creating an elevated style of tapas and platillos, that are served at the center of the table, family-style.
Many may not know this, but Barceloneta was named after a little town in Puerto Rico and was also inspired by a popular fishing neighborhood of the same name in Barcelona. Both are now popular and trendy towns. The name’s fitting (although, slightly conflicting with co-owner Manuel Suarez-Inclan’s Madrid roots … he did however put his soccer rivalry aside!).
