Private Space at River Terrace Hall

About this space

Private Space, a Ballroom in River Terrace Hall, pairs modern detailing and formal finishes with a warm, residential character that distinguishes it from a purely ceremonial hall.

Design: The room has high coffered ceilings, decorative columns and cream panelling that create a refined interior. The floor is dark hardwood and the fit-out includes crystal chandeliers and clear acrylic chairs arranged around round dining tables.

Features: The space includes a built-in PA system and speakers, venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The room admits natural daylight and permits external DJs or guest playlists under an own-music policy. The layout leaves a clear central area suitable for dancing or a performance zone.

Ideal for: Families and community groups seeking a polished, formal seated dinner or a reception-style gathering that includes space for dancing and socialising.

What sets it apart: A run of freestanding white partition panels allows the ballroom to be reconfigured into smaller, semi-private sections for layered or more intimate use.

What guests say: The space presents refined, magazine-ready decor while remaining approachable and comfortable. The staff are professional and service runs smoothly during events.
