Pedal Barge at Houston Pedal Barge

About this space

Houston Pedal Barge is a pedal-bar pontoon that centres a communal, bar-style seating layout with pedal stations to create an interactive onboard experience.

Design: A light, utilitarian interior uses a translucent canopy, white metal rails and vinyl decking to keep sightlines clear along the length of the deck and support easy movement.

Features: The barge has a PA system and onboard speakers that allow hosts to play their own music. The vessel is crewed by a captain and uses motorised propulsion for navigation. The deck layout preserves a central circulation area suitable for standing, mingling and dancing.

Ideal for: Social groups seeking a relaxed, music-led cruise that mixes seated pedalling with standing and mingling.

What guests say: The vessel has reported roof leaks and wet seating during heavy rain, which affected comfort on some trips. The vessel provides a peaceful, scenic cruise in fair weather.
