About this space

The Downstairs Patio is a private outdoor space at HMD Bar & Grill that features a sheltered, paved courtyard and high privacy walls.

Design: The patio has a contemporary, minimal look with smooth concrete flooring, black woven chairs and glass-topped tables arranged in regular rows. Freestanding planters introduce vertical greenery while low-profile furniture keeps sightlines clear.

Features: The patio provides freestanding glass-topped tables and molded black chairs that can be rearranged for different layouts. The space includes Wi‑Fi and a PA system that allows hosts to play their own music or hire a DJ. The area has step-free guest access and accessible toilets on site.

Ideal for: Social groups seeking a relaxed, informal outdoor gathering that mixes seated dining and standing social time.

What sets it apart: The patio's continuous overhead sail provides broad shade across the seating area, improving daytime comfort.

What guests say: The patio is beautiful and family-friendly, and it includes an enclosed fire pit that provides outdoor warmth on chillier evenings.
