NFT1 is our largest auditorium and has played host to some incredible moments in cinema history. The venue is a true piece of cinematic history.

Offering maximum comfort and style, NFT1 is superbly equipped to the highest standard with projection and sound facilities, comfortable raked seating and a large stage.

NFT1 is the perfect venue for major premieres, conferences, away days, launches or presentations. Over the years, the venue has served as a preferred partner for staging events for leading corporate, tech, automotive and entertainment brands and we experienced in helping bring the most complex of events to life.

Our professional and dedicated team are always on hand to help you create a successful and memorable event no matter what the format – their high calibre service and flawless delivery is the prime reason why many companies repeatedly rebook our spaces to host their most high-profile events. All AV within NFT1 is yours to use as part of your hire fee, and you will also be provided with a Technician and an Event Coordinator to ensure your event goes smoothly.

As a venue hire client, you will be offered immense flexibility with the branding of our spaces. Previous clients have visually transformed the physical space to the full extent possible using brand-coordinated lighting effects, poster and digital displays, wraps and vinyling, personalised entrances and a red carpet welcome – making sure your brand is fully integrated into this iconic venue ensures your event is impressive and impactful.

Events at NFT1 can be booked with other inspirational social spaces within the BFI Southbank such as the Blue Room or the Riverfront restaurant and Balcony Bar - you can host a welcome breakfast for your delegates or let them kick back with a glamourous evening cocktail reception.

The BFI Southbank offers 4 high-spec auditoria. Capacities range from an intimate Studio seating 38 to the 450-seater NFT1 auditorium that offers superb cinema projection, as well as mid-size auditoria seating 125 -138 that offer immensely flexible event spaces.

The auditorium spaces are perfect for hosting conferences, award ceremonies, screenings, company annual general meetings, product launches and project presentation spaces – especially if you are looking for the highest spec of audio-visual presentation – all of which are provided within the hire cost of the space.

We are also home to several versatile and stylish reception spaces, including an elegant restaurant and bar with views of the river Thames, which offer a great social space to host a welcome breakfast for delegates, an evening networking gathering, cocktail reception or staff Christmas gathering.
