Our Mayor’s Parlour is another beautiful large reception room with high ceilings, bay windows and a feature fireplace set on the ground floor of Alexander House. Ideal for meetings, workshops and intimate gatherings, plus it is connected to our Jubilee Room, via a lifting partition wall, if you want to extend the numbers.

We can accommodate:

40 people for theatre-style
20 people for the board room
15 people for a classroom setting

Host rules

A 50% deposit of the room hire amount is required to confirm the booking.
The final balance is due 30 days before the date of hire.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of the date of the hire will not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations between 2 and 4 weeks before the date of the hire will be eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations 4 or more weeks before the booking will receive a full refund.
Weddings/large events may have different cancellation terms.
