About this space

Grandstand Ground Floor is a hall in Newbury Racecourse that functions as a presentation-ready, conference-style space defined by a long, open-plan layout inside the grandstand.

Design: The room has a high, white vaulted ceiling with exposed steel trusses and an industrial-modern finish. Large glazed bays deliver strong natural daylight and the interior is uncluttered to preserve clear sightlines toward the stage.

Features: The space includes a raised stage, ceiling-mounted projector, rigged stage lighting and an integrated PA/speaker system. The room has venue Wi‑Fi, permission to play own music and wheelchair access, and seating can be arranged in theatre-style for speaker-led events.

Ideal for: Corporate and professional groups needing formal, seated presentations and speaker-led conferences.

What sets it apart: The hall provides internal sightlines to the racecourse and direct access to trackside viewing areas from within the grandstand.

What guests say: The grandstand's facilities are modern and well organised, and the amenity areas feel comfortable and climate-controlled. The grandstand's layout provides clear sightlines and straightforward access for attendees.
