About this space
Brightside Outdoors is an open-air venue built from black container architecture in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. It has multiple levels, elevated viewing decks, and open ground space, with capacity for up to 550 guests.
The production setup includes professional sound and lighting, a DJ setup, and a large outdoor screen for visual branding, presentations, live sport, or general backdrop use. A photo booth is also on site.
It works well for live music, DJ events, corporate functions, brand activations, and large celebrations. Drink packages, bar tabs, cocktails, local beers, wines, and spirits are all available, alongside catering options or the ability to bring your own.
Prices
A deposit of $1,000 (inc. GST) is required to confirm all private bookings – this amount can be applied as a bar tab on the day of your event.
Prices do not include sound technicians. If your event requires a band or sound tech, this will be an additional cost.

Guest under 18 not allowed unless accompanied by an adult after 10:00 pm
Host rules
No smoking or vaping inside the venue
No external alcohol or beverages to be brought into the venue
External food is permitted only if arranged and agreed upon prior to your event
Damage to the venue, equipment, or karaoke systems will result in additional charges
Responsible service of alcohol applies at all times – guests who appear intoxicated will be refused service
The venue operates in accordance with Queensland liquor licensing laws
The venue reserves the right to remove any guest behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner
Confetti, glitter, sparklers, and open flames are not permitted
