friendly and helpful staff nice clean setting no issue with timing of getting into the room and leaving great location
the only one worth mentioning is that we had the meeting room looking out on to Great Portland Street and the window was not tinted in anyway so people could and did look in which was distracting. be nice if the tinting was one way so you can look out
About The Smiths Building
This building was originally constructed in 1913 for Smiths Industries. They made the first ever Speedometers for the motor car so we have some industrial heritage with the building, albeit much of it has been destroyed over the years. Still, we worked hard with architects Stiff & Trevillion to pull some of that character back.
We also moved our head office into part of the space so the design has a little bit of everything we like from our other buildings; the space features a combination of industrial/contemporary style mixed with vintage/modern furniture and lighting. The overall feel is light and young with a hint of this building’s history. There’s a rooftop perfect for events, parties and barbeques (trust us, we’ve tried and tested) offices, meeting rooms and lounge space galore.
