Yes, the venue gets a lot of people sound recording, but you may want to do a recce to check suitability first.

No, the windows on the roof cannot be blacked out. Clients have discussed doing it before, but it is very high so tricky.

There is not an echo, but the venue is not soundproofed and some passing traffic can be heard.
