About this space

A wedding at the famous Groucho Club is a unique opportunity to get married in an unusual, romantic, intimate location in the heart of bohemian Soho.

Sophisticated and exclusive, you are able to marry in the Gennaro room, a light and airy room in front of 60 guests, afterwards moving to the stunning dining room featuring a large chandelier and beautiful glass ceiling for the wedding breakfast. We have several rooms available for a party afterwards.

The wedding couple and guests are also able to stay in our 20 bedrooms and 2 apartments located above The Club so you can get ready at The Groucho and stay for the evening after you've partied the night away.

As part of the package, you will have a dedicated weddings events manager and functions team who will bring your wedding to life. We have a range of preferred suppliers including DJs and florists and an in-house catering team who will create a perfect dinner for after the wedding.

But now that we can once again mark these momentous occasions with nearest & dearest (even though it’s just 30 of them, that’s how many people you really like anyway), we’re here to help you celebrate the fact that love really does conquer all. We’ve put together a magnificent, one time only, very exclusive all-inclusive wedding bundle – because if you were a 2020 wedding, you’ve had a tough enough time already. It includes all the trimmings that make a wedding wonderful, from champagne & canapés, to a lavish three-course meal, to bedrooms for you and your guests, to a breakfast the next morning to cure the hangover haze, all for just £7k including bedrooms (£4k without bedrooms). And we will happily tweak and tinker with what’s included, to make sure save every little penny for the dream honeymoon, and still get the day of your dreams.

About The Groucho Club

Welcome to The Groucho Club! We are a world-renowned arts & media private members club, based in Soho, London. Created in the 1980’s by a group of mostly women publishers as an antidote to the stuffy gentlemen’s clubs, The Groucho Club remains a bastion and refuge for arts, literature and media folk in the bohemian heart of London’s West End. Our famous event spaces are available for hire and we also have 17 (infamous!) bedrooms for any Event guests who want to carry on the Party.
