About this space

The McG­o­na­gall Room, beside The Restau­rant, can accom­mo­date up to 42 guests for din­ner par­ties dur­ing the week, and at week­ends.

It is avail­able on its own, with the Restau­rant, or either of the bars for larg­er parties.

Christmas Party Offers

The begin­ning of the Christ­mas extrav­a­gance dates back to the 13th cen­tu­ry when Hen­ry III had six hun­dred oxen killed and pre­pared for a sin­gle feast. Although we can’t quite match this amaz­ing fête at Bois­dale, we do like to keep the tra­di­tion of sump­tu­ous feast­ing and won­der­ful Christ­mas cus­toms alive.

Through­out Decem­ber Bois­dale of Bish­ops­gate will be offer­ing tra­di­tion­al Christ­mas sup­per menus com­plete with malt whiskey cock­tails, hag­gis, the game in sea­son and Christ­mas pudding.
