Maxwell’s is a family restaurant with an emphasis on fresh ingredients that are all prepared daily onsite. Their bar serves all the classic cocktails as well as many of our favourites that they have perfected over the years. Kids are never forgotten in Maxwell’s with a big choice of Kids meals & cocktails to keep them happy.

Way back in the early ’70s, when it was nigh impossible to find a decent burger or grill in London, Brian Stein set forth to open Maxwell’s Hampstead. His concept was simple: a restaurant with a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere where friendly staff would serve these now-famous burgers.

Come the 80’s, after a decade of the West End coming to Maxwell’s, clearly, it was time to bring a bit of Hampstead to the West End... enter Maxwell’s Covent Garden. It was an instant hit with a buzzy West End mix of residents, workers and visitors, many of whom loyally still frequent Maxwell’s today.
