The Lounge has been refurbed during the pandemic & it looks nice & cosy.
We can be flexible with all layouts and can cater for any event or occasion that you are looking to hold with us.
From birthdays, corporate meetings, and wedding receptions to the all-important Christmas and Summer parties we have something for everyone.
You can decorate the room as you wish and make it your own individual area to entertain your guests or clients.
With a variety of seating layouts available this is a perfect space for meetings or networking events.
It has natural daylight, TV, sound system and wifi it is a great space that is an alternative to your office.
We can cater for all your food and drink needs, whether this is just hot drinks or breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Christmas Party Offers
The minimum spend must be reached through food and drink sales; it is not a target figure.
A deposit of £10/head is required to confirm your booking. It can be redeemed against any food and drink on the night once the minimum spend has been met, or it can be refunded to a card. If the minimum spend is not reached, the shortfall must be paid on the night. For festive set menu bookings, if a member of your group does not attend, then the £10 deposit representing them will be forfeited. The person in charge of the event on the day must provide us with a card swipe before the event begins. VAT receipts can only be available at the end of the event in a detailed itemised bill.
We require that you pre order food & drinks packages for your event. We have a great selection & it will facilitate the speed of your service.
Food & drinks pre-orders are required at least 8 days prior your event. At this time, we also require you to tell us what time you would like the food to be served and/or brought out, and include all dietary requirements and allergies. Please note that your food will be served at the agreed time and there can be no amendments made on the day.
All festive bookings carry a discretionary service charge of 10%.
Additionally, while we will do our best to accommodate if any unplanned last minute timing changes, such as your party running late, it is also important to note that if your booking is for 13:00/1pm and you don't arrive until 14:00/2pm, we may still need your table back at your pre-arranged end time if necessary to set up for the next group.
In case of cancellation, we require a 2-week notice. If you fail to let us know, your deposit will be forfeited.
We will already have the space decorated for Christmas, and Christmas crackers will be provided.
We have a television screen in the room with a standard sized HDMI cable connection. You can also plug in your own music into our system - your device needs to have a mini jack port.
Unfortunately for evening bookings children under 18 are not permitted in the pub after 21:00. We ask you to make your guests aware of this if they are planning on bringing children to your event.

The Feather's lounge was absolutely great. We hired it for a 50th Birthday party for my husband and had a brilliant time! The communication was excellent and the staff were all very helpful- especially Nadia on the day. We ordered a buffet for our guests and the food was delicious!
The staff were really friendly and helpful- both on the day and via tagvenue 10/10. The ground floor of the venue is accessible (although a bit tightly packed in some places) and has an accessible toilet (needs a radar key to access). This is what motivated us to book the feathers. The food was good, we ordered from the christmas set menu which had vegan and vegetarian options for each course including dessert. The food service was excellent, with our groups food coming out at the same time (group of 17), and was the best menu in terms of variety within a traditional Christmas dinner theme out of all the other venues we looked at on tagvenue The place was decorated nicely for Christmas, and had a lovely rustic pub vibe to it in the snug which I am sure is true all year round. The venue is close to several stations which made it accessible for disabled member of our group, and easy to find and get to for group members who had travelled into London for the party. We had a really great time at the venue with the staff being the highlight.
We had booked the space until 6pm but were asked to leave at 5:30 as the next booking had turned up. Photos on tagvenue are slightly misleading - you dont get the long line of tables/seating near the bar that is featured heavily in the photos, you only get the seating at the back when you hire the snug If you are disabled you will need a radar key to access the accessible toilet in the snug, the staff do have one but wont leave it unlocked for you, having to ask to go to the loo everytime you need to go, makes you feel like you are in primary school which kills the celebratory mood a bit. Minor poor communication between staff I spoke to via tagvenue and staff in person but didn't cause any major issues as in person staff were great and flexible - we had asked about an activity (bauble painting) we wanted to do at a work Christmas meal and been told yes we could, but the staff on the day had no clue that was planned to happen. The form for ordering food is very confusing - it doesn't allow for one person to enter everyones orders as it then attributes all orders to your name which the venue weren't happy with - however, they were chill with working out this issue their end when i sent them a excel sheet of orders next to names
I recently booked The Feather's Lounge at The Prince of Wales for my mom's wedding celebration, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, the staff at The Feather's Lounge were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. I had inquired about arriving early to decorate the venue, and they not only allowed us to do so but also went out of their way to make sure everything was set up just the way we wanted it. Their flexibility and willingness to work with us made the whole experience stress-free. The service we received throughout the event was excellent. The staff, including Lucy and Emily, were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. There was also a waiter whose name I unfortunately can't recall, but he was exceptionally helpful and played a significant role in making my mom and our family feel truly special. And let's not forget about the food. The menu at The Feather's Lounge was impressive, and the dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it added to the overall joy of the celebration. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Feather's Lounge at The Prince of Wales to anyone looking for a fantastic venue and outstanding service. It's a place where you can create lasting memories, and the staff's dedication to making your event special is truly commendable. Thank you to Lucy, Emily, and the entire team for making my mom's wedding day unforgettable. I give this place a 100% recommendation, and I can't wait to return for future celebrations.
