About this space
The Studio space is an airy 2,230 sq. ft. room. Concreted floors glare in harsh sunlight, where light does not reflect well from the high ceilings, set with track lights, and justifiably darkened with black walls. It is a very simple room, yet very useful, perfect for film shooting, rehearsal, shows, or workshops.
There are the sound system and a projector available in this place; an awesome plus is the loading dock nearby for dropping and retrieving heavy equipment. The bar and kitchen are just around the corner, so the space also accommodates parties and events. A flexible space for artists and groups to live out their ideas!

About VIVO Media Arts Centre
VIVO Media Arts Centre is a cultural hub and not-for-profit charitable society dedicated to supporting independent media artists and producers in the city and region. Every year, we provide dozens of artists and other art centres with free or affordable resources for all aspects of the media creation cycle. We maintain public access to an up-to-date inventory of specialized equipment and software, two production studios, and a presentation venue.
We host video screenings, exhibitions of new work, production projects, and skill-sharing workshops, welcoming hundreds of visitors and program participants. Video Out is VIVO’s distribution service, ensuring that locally made video art can reach audiences at festivals and galleries worldwide. The Crista Dahl Media Library and Archive preserves and animates histories that would otherwise be lost, supporting original community-based research and knowledge.
