I hosted a small reception in the Attic Bar for 50 ppl. Caitlin was very helpful and attentive with my inquiries and request for the event. The on-duty staff were also very friendly. Guests loved the cosy atmosphere and the very central location of the hotel (it was raining but they were able to walk under shelter to Town hall station, which is literally a couple minutes away). The food was tasty, except for the curry which was a bit too spicy for some guests.

The location was very accessible for everyone which was great! Having access to the bar in the room was a great facility as well as value all together!
Catering was a bit slow which meant that people didn’t really have food (also a little my fault).
We held our end of year party here and were not disappointed. Event management was easy, thorough and uncomplicated. Food was excellent and plentiful. Duck pizza was a favourite. Beautiful room with good art and pleasing aesthetics. Lots of comfortable seating for the older employees. I would definitely recommend for a corporate event.
There didn't appear to be toilet facilities upstairs, though this was not a deal breaker. The DJ while good, had not been briefed by me to play middle-aged dance music and had to adapt to the room which he did well. Despite being asked to turn the music down a few times, it was deafening and made it impossible to chat. A solid brief would have eliminated this issue. It was no fault of the DJ or the venue.
