I recently held my 30th here. Fantastic venue with incredibly lovely staff. Paul met with my partner prior to the event to get to know us a little, and from that moment on was so accommodating. The staff on the evening were so kind and helpful and we had plenty of space, great music that we could set up through the sound system and great vibes.

About The Clifton Hill Hotel

The Clifton Hill Hotel is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.

The Clifton Hill Hotel is your classic neighbourhood pub perched right in the heart of Clifton Hill, just an 86 tram ride from the city and a stone’s throw from the Merri Creek trails or Clifton Hill train station.

We’re known for our warm, easy-going vibe, good food, cold drinks and the kind of service that feels genuinely local. With flexible spaces, friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere, we’re a top spot to host your next function; whether it’s a birthday, work do, or just an excuse to get your mates together.

Our two main spaces are:
* the Barrel Room - semi-private with its own bar and view to the kitchen, this is our flexible and versitile function space. A sit down meal with 70 of your nearest and dearest? Done. A 30th with your own band? Easy. This room dresses up or down, depending on your vibe.
* Side Bar - Adjacent to the Main bar, this casual space features high tables and a pool table. It's a very "pub" room and the space you'd be keen for a casual catch up. Great for a smaller gathering and when you don't want anything too fancy.

Usually booked for
Stag Party

Typically for 25-30 guests and costs about $2,300.
