The staff was friendly and happy to help with anything needed. The studio was clean, and they had heated the room before my arrival! I would definitely teach a class here again and recommend to others maximum capacity for a mat class would be 11.

About The Empty Space

The Empty Space is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.

The Empty Space is a unique and custom-built theatre space, housed in an old industrial unit just five minutes from the main studio block at MediaCity.

From its inception in December 2016, the venue has developed into a popular performance space, hosting a variety of professional and amateur productions throughout the year (including GM Fringe), college graduate shows, comedy nights, music recitals, showcases, training, and rehearsals, as well as being home to Footlights Theatre.

FAQ

There is wing space at the side: around 0.75m on stage left and around the back, allowing crossover without going on stage, and around 3m wide on stage right, usually used as a changing and props area.

Yes — the venue runs the bar itself and retains the bar income.

Cancellations 60 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.

Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
