Venue decor matched our theme. Location was good. Some of the food was ok Staff on the night tried to be helpful given the many hiccups from poor internal communication

Food was very hit and miss. We went to a tasting to try and see what would be on offer. On the night some of the dishes were completely different and we wouldn’t have chosen them if they were of that quality beforehand (namely the grilled cheese). For essentially £4 per canapé / bite the quality was not equitable Communication was very spotty in the lead up, there was a 3 month period with 0 communication or replies to emails or call. The one the night team hadn’t received any of the service agreements made so all pre planning was kind of ignored. Payment on the day was not counted towards our minimum spend which was wrong. Speakers towards the back of the room didn’t work or at least work well so it was quite quiet anywhere other than in front of the stage . Was promised a screen on wheels. This is was not provided.

I hired this venue for my 30th birthday where I had live performances. I had a person who was helping me sort out logistics and was very helpful and willing to be contacted by other people involved in the night, which I very much appreciated. On the night itself the staff were so friendly and helpful, helping me put decorations up and taking them down, the main contact on the night was so helpful and lovely, and it was very each to check on my minimum spend I had such a great night and am very thankful I picked this place!

Everything was so easy to organise with staff getting back to us quickly with any questions that we had. The bar staff on the night were fantastic and made sure that everything ran smoothly!! The venue was perfect for our engagement party!!

From our takeaway counter on the ground floor serving up bacon butties & coffee, to the 150 seater caf upstairs (complete with it's very own stage!) & the world's very first Breakfast Pub (we think) tucked away at the back serving dinner, pints & cocktails. Perfect for group drinks at the Breakfast Pub, full-on seasonal parties (we'll even help you find some locally world famous entertainment) or just a place for dinner & drinks with your mates.
