ALCOVE is a venue in the heart of Leicester city centre, designed with events in mind. By day, we operate as a stylish coffee shop and by night, it transforms into an intimate and flexible event space. Located on St Nicholas Place overlooking Jubilee Square, we’re in a prime, easy-to-find spot with parking just a two-minute walk away and a taxi rank directly outside.
The venue is managed by two experienced event promoters and managers, meaning we don’t just offer a space - we understand what it takes to create a great customer experience from both a venue and promoter perspective. From setup and flow to atmosphere and bar service, everything is designed to help your event run smoothly. We can be licensed to serve alcohol and can offer flexible drinks packages or options on request.
Currently, our ground floor hosts events for up to 50 people, making it ideal for intimate gatherings and curated experiences. We’ll soon be opening the upstairs level following renovations, increasing total capacity.
We’re open to a wide range of event ideas, including birthday parties, networking events, ticketed events, live music, baby showers and more. If you’ve got an idea, we’re happy to explore it with you!

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
