About this space
Our working apiary in the Kent Downs, where your team suits up and opens live hives with our beekeepers. Everyone gets hands-on: holding frames of bees, spotting the queen and seeing how a colony works. Bee suits, gloves and all kit provided. No experience needed.

• Anyone with an allergy to bee, wasp or hornet stings must tell us before the day. If you carry an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen), please bring it.
• Please tell us in advance about any medical condition, mobility need, pregnancy or dietary requirement.
• Every guest completes a short online health and safety waiver before the day.
• Protective suits, veils and gloves must be worn at all times near the hives. We provide them.
• Follow your guide's instructions at all times. We may ask anyone behaving unsafely to step away from the hives.
• No alcohol before or during hive work.
• Wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear and clothing suited to the weather. This is a working farm and the ground can be uneven or muddy.
• Designed for adults. Guests aged 16–17 are welcome with prior agreement and written consent from a parent or guardian.
• No smoking or vaping on the farm.
• No dogs, for their safety around the hives.
• Please avoid strong perfume or aftershave on the day, as it can unsettle the bees.
